Yogurtland’s Summer Capsule: Fruit Yogurt with Added Protein

Summer Redefined

Many things define summer. The smell of coconut sunscreen. The sound of crickets at night. The taste of a cold and delicious bowl of fresh fruit.

Yogurtland wants to encapsulate all those nostalgic summer feelings with their new protein-added flavors. Reminiscent of all those warm childhood nights spent on your grandparents’ porch, the limited-time Yogurtland fruit flavors aim to attract all your senses, leaving you craving more.

The new yogurts incorporate a healthy amount of protein, fats, and no added sugar, which makes them a great base for a variety of toppings.

“A new, fresh, and healthy option for my kids. What more can I ask for?” Nancy Walsh said excitedly as her eight-year-old son filled his cup of froyo to the rim. We watched as he walked over to the counter and piled his cup high with fruits and candy-coated chocolates.

Increasing protein in the diet has become the newest health craze, and Yogurtland is embracing the public demand for protein through its flavors. We asked local fitness and nutrition advisor Shelly Christopher for her opinion on the new yogurts.

“These remind me of the protein acai bowls I sometimes get after an intense workout at the gym. The new yogurt is so flavorful and the perfect base for fresh fruit as a topping. I have been trying to increase my protein intake to build muscle, and since Yogurtland has released these flavors, I have found myself returning to getting froyo more and more.”

The USDA has made it known, especially in recent years, that protein, when added to meals, is essential as it provides the nutrients needed to maintain a healthy body. Yogurtland is supporting this need with its new protein yogurt campaign.

Ranking Flavors

Yogurtland sent out a survey to learn more about how the public ranked the brand-new protein flavors. The public also recommended the best toppings to try with each yogurt.

#3 – Mixed Berry

Tart and bursting with flavor. Yogurtland combines the sweetness of ripe blueberries, strawberries, raspberries, and blackberries to create this distinct berry-filled yogurt base. The public claims that this is the tartest of the three new flavors. It goes best with chocolate toppings.

#2 – Piña Colada

Pineapple, coconut, and lime combine in this decadent and creamy yogurt base. Survey takers argue that this is the richest base yogurt. The hint of lime gives it a unique flavor that is best matched with graham cracker crust and marshmallow topping.

#1 – Watermelon Splash

According to survey takers, Yogurtland did a perfect job of replicating the taste of a fresh slice of watermelon that you would eat during the summer. Light, fresh, and perfectly sweet, the yogurt is a nostalgic nod to the countless fresh bowls of watermelon eaten during hot summer days. This pairs well with fresh fruit on top.

With the success of this yogurt launch, Yogurtland hopes to create more flavors that the public will enjoy for generations to come.
